wooden house

Yes,that is an old tradition, at least I remember that it was already in my childhood very popular. I played with my cousins in it.
In finnish we call it "leikkimökki" where leikki=play, mökki=hut, little house.
In summertime we also slept overnight in it.
We don't have it in our yard, but may be we will buy one, because we have now Anni:)
Earlier people built that themselves, nowadays you may buy it and they transport it to your house, or buy DIY version, where they carry just a big pack of woodstuff and instructionpapers to your doorstep. ( I checked in internet that price for one DIY hut is 399 €)

My students ask me in Finland there are many family have small wooden house in back yard or some place for children to play or live. is this your tradition? How much it cost ? Did your people build by your selves?(It seems that some company sell that kind of house)
